I have to say that I was not looking forward to this one. Tequila and apple cider sounded off to me, BUT after trying it I can safely say that I was wrong. This drink was perfect for fall with a little warmth and a little kick of tequila. I used a salt rim because I prefer it, but it would go really nicely with a cinnamon sugar rim as well! Keep reading to get the recipe for this perfect fall cocktail!
For this drink simply gather ingredients you probably already have, plus one you probably don’t. This recipe calls for tequila, apple cider, pear juice, and orange liqueur. I used triple sec because it is what I had, but grand marnier would be even better! Pear juice threw me off on this one, but it really helped join the tequila with the apple cider beautifully.
To make this cocktail start by rimming your glass. I use salt because I prefer it, but sugar works too. Add all liquids to a shaker with ice and shake to chill. Pour into your glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick. SO EASY! This cocktail is sure to bring the warmth and fun to your holiday parties. Note: You can also garnish with an apple or pear slice for more options.
