After being away for so long, I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. Getting back into a routine that makes me happy, fulfilled and not stressed always take a bit of time after long trips, but we are finally there! Our weekly cocktail hour with new drinks was the last piece of the puzzle and Jorge & I worked together to put together this amazing summer drink!
While in Washington for my trip, I saw this Jameson Orange EVERYWHERE. I was so interested to find out what it tasted like that I picked up a bottle and I was not disappointed! This Orange Burst cocktail that I found on their website is sure to be a summer go-to for you. It is so easy to build and just as easy to drink. Jorge made some great orange peel twists and flowers for garnish, while I built the drinks over ice.
The most difficult part was realizing that we were out of orange juice in the fridge and I had to hand squeeze the juice for this recipe. Fun Fact: 1 orange came out to 3oz of orange juice = 1 orange per cocktail.
It is so easy that I just poured in the ingredients over ice and served! Enjoy!
As always, thank you for reading and joining us on this journey.
Simply, Beth
