Kir Royale has been on my drink list since season 3 of Emily in Paris. (If you haven’t watched this show yet, you should because it is great) I wondered if it really was as good as Emily proclaims in the show and I have to tell you firsthand, it is! I definitely should have broken out my classic champagne flutes for this recipe, but it still tasted great! Print this recipe for Valentine’s Day to add a little extra to your champagne at dinner!
This drink only needs two ingredients: champagne and creme de cassis. If you’d like you can use prosecco like we did or another sparkling wine. You can also sub the creme de cassis out for Chambord. It will taste different, but is the same idea.
This cocktail is simple, yet sophisticated, making it the perfect drink for Valentine’s Day or any other special occasion. To make this drink start with chilled glasses and pour in your creme de cassis. Then, slowly add in your champagne. If you like garnishes, add in a couple of raspberries or a twist of lemon. Enjoy this vibrantly red drink with it’s bubbles and delicious taste. Send a cheers my way when you make it by tagging me in a post! As always, thank you for reading and joining us on this journey! We love learning and growing with you.
Simply,
Beth
