Nespresso Martini

Between the vodka and the espresso, I’m not sure how this cocktail could get any better. Well, a little whipped cream may help! We were very excited to get a Nespresso coffee maker for Christmas and went right to work making all kinds of drinks both in the morning and in the evening. It has been fun enjoying lattes at home and even more fun experimenting to get our favorite recipes for a fraction of what they cost at the coffee shops in town. Let’s see what is in a Nespresso martini.

This simple cocktail is tasty, and ups the game a little if you are like me and normally pour your vodka over lemon-lime soda. To start, add your vodka, coffee and simple syrup to a shaker. Start brewing your espresso and add it to you shaker along with some ice. Chill the drink and mix before pouring into a martini glass. Garnish with your choice of espresso beans or whipped cream. Easy right?!

While I prefer my coffee hot, Jorge really enjoyed this cocktail. We added a bit of rediwhip to make it creamier.

We hope you enjoyed this recipe! If you try it, let us know your thoughts in the comments. As always, thank you for reading and joining us on this journey. Simply, Beth
