Caramel Latte

Coffee is definitely something we drink a lot of here at Tin Box and have a really hard time starting our day without it. That being said we enjoy a good latte in the afternoon, or even as a treat in the morning! We try many different kinds of flavors and while I prefer a vanilla latte for my go-to drink, caramel just makes for a delicious treat.

We have been busy experimenting with our Nespresso and Sodastream machines quite a bit lately and can’t wait to share the recipes we have been working out! It’s a little tricky in my household because I love milk and cream, while Jorge prefers less milk and more coffee. He does, however, love the caramel latte from Dunkin and I’ve been working on making a good copy of their recipe to have at home that is a good balance of the milk in the latte that I love and the caramel he loves without too much syrup.

Caramel Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 oz Caramel Coffee Syrup
  • 1 Espresso Pod
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Whipped Topping
  • Caramel Topping

Instructions
 

  • Add caramel coffee syrup to your coffee cup and milk to milk warmer/frother.
  • Brew your espresso while milk is frothing, then add frothed milk to latte
  • Top with whipped topping and drizzle with caramel topping.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*I bump milk up to 1/3 cup when making a double espresso.
