Grenadine

I always enjoy learning to make items from scratch and this is no exception. This is a stepped-up Grenadine recipe that comes from Kolten at the Lodges at Gettysburg. We enjoyed meeting him and learning about this amazing ingredient!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 part Pomegranate Juice
  • 2 parts Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Pomegranate Molasses (per 1 cup pomegranate juice)
  • 8 drops Orange Blossom Water (per 1 cup pomegranate juice)

Instructions
 

  • For this great recipe start with one part pomegranate juice and two parts sugar. Mix these two ingredients over medium to medium-high heat until the sugar is dissolved. Turn off the heat and add in one tablespoon of pomegranate molasses (for every one part pomegranate juice) and eight drops of orange blossom water (for every one part pomegranate juice). Allow this liquid to cool and add to a glass container. Place in fridge to chill until you are ready to use.
